UDS Nyankpala Campus SRC tackles Water Crises with a “Water Project”

The Swaad-Aikins led administration, aims for this project to provide accessible and affordable water for the student populace. As part of the project, the SRC strategically installed polytanks at vantage points on the campus, ensuring convenient access to water for students.

The primary objective is to minimize water scarcity and make water more readily available at a reasonable cost.

The Water and Sanitation Committee of the SRC played a crucial role in executing the project’s core objectives, ensuring its smooth implementation.

Since its launch, the SRC has distributed over 400 gallons of water to students and introduced home delivery services to enhance accessibility.

The Water Project reflects the SRC’s unwavering dedication to addressing critical campus issues and prioritizing student welfare. As the project progresses, the SRC aims to make a lasting impact by ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply for all students

NYC Principal

The Nyankpala Campus Principal, Prof. Muhammed Muniru Iddrisu, commended the SRC for their efforts in resolving the perennial water crisis and pledged full support for the initiative.
