UDS dominates 2022 GUSA Cross Country Women Competition

  • The 25th GUSA Cross Country Competition is currently ongoing from the 11th to the 14th of August
  • The competition is being hosted by the University of Health and Allied Health Sciences (UHAS)
  • Participating schools include; the University for Development Studies (UDS), University of Ghana (UG), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Professional Studies, University of Health and Allied health Sciences, University of Cape Coast, University of Education, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, etc.

Wins

Participating students from the University for Development Studies (UDS) a few hours ago took the 1st and 3rd position (among runners from 13 other competing schools) wins in the women’s competition run at the 25th GUA games in Ho.

Sarah Koomson (second left of the screen in the photo below) and Hildermary Bayor (other female in the photo) placed 1st and 3rd for UDS at the games in HO.

Sarah Koomson with this 1st place win has defended her title, haven won the last competition.

Students

Sarah Koomson and Hildermary Bayor are both students on the Tamale Campus of the University for Development Studies (UDS).
