History: UDS Elects Female SRC Presidents For Both Nyankpala & Tamale Campuses
- The students elections of the University for Development Studies (UDS) has taken place in the past weeks.
- History has been made with the election of Female candidates into office on the two campuses of the University.
For the very 1st first time, both SRC Presidents for the Tamale and Nyankpala Campuses will be Females.
The Nyankpala Campuses has previously had a Female SRC President but, this is the first time the Tamale Campus will be getting a female in-charge.
Swaad for NYC
Swaad Abdallah emerged as winner of the Nyankpala Campus SRC Presidential election after a run-off.
She pulled an impressive 67.6% of the valid votes cast to take her turn as the 2023/2024 Students Representative Council President-elect for the Pioneer campus of the University for Nyankpala Campus.
Rukaya for TLC
Miss Rukaya Hussien as well won her run-off for the Tamale Campus to become the President-elect for the 2023/2024 Academic year.
