Digital Skills Programme Cohort 3: Apply Now (HTU and UDS Students)

  • Ready to turn your curiosity about technology into skills that set you apart? Your future in tech starts here.
  • The Digital Skills Programme Cohort 3 is open for applications, and the deadline is 30th October 2026.

What is the Digital Skills Programme?

The NGIC–Nokia–Plan International Ghana Digital Skills Programme, in partnership with Intellas and the University for Development Studies (UDS), gives young people the chance to build in-demand digital skills, gain industry exposure, and get hands-on experience to thrive in today’s digital world.

Whether you dream of building a career in technology or creating innovative digital solutions, this is your chance to learn, grow, and turn your ideas into impact.

Who can apply?

The selection criteria are clear:

  • Level 100 to 300 students of HTU and UDS
  • Aged 18 to 24 years
  • Must own a laptop or have access to a well-equipped computer lab
  • Should be curious about emerging technologies and eager to learn
  • IT and non-IT disciplines are both welcome
  • Girls are strongly encouraged to apply

What you stand to gain

  • In-demand digital skills that employers are looking for
  • Industry exposure through the programme’s partners
  • Hands-on experience you can apply right away

Not studying IT? You can still apply

Many students assume tech programmes are only for those in computer science or IT. This one is open to students from any discipline. Whether you study business, agriculture, education, or the arts, digital skills can make you more competitive and open new career paths. What matters most is curiosity and a willingness to learn.

A push for girls in tech

The flyer says girls are “strongly encouraged to apply.” This fits Plan International’s mission of equality, summed up in its tagline, Until we are all equal. Young women are still underrepresented in technology, and programmes like this help close that gap.

How to apply

Applications close on 30th October 2026. Apply online at tinyurl.com/dspcohort3 or scan the QR code on the official flyer.

Don’t miss this opportunity to build your digital skills, explore new possibilities, and prepare for the future. Apply today.
