Getting UDS Transcripts Wahala; Sch. of Nursing and Midwifery Speaks

• Over time, UDS alumni have expressed concerns about the difficulties they encounter when requesting their academic transcripts.
• In response to a question on a Facebook post, the official page of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at UDS characterized the situation as a “multifaceted hydra-headed problem”.

The official Facebook page of the School of Nursing and Midwifery respond to the qesution; “Issue Transcripts and Certificates to those who graduated several years back before adding new programs.”

Obviously, the transcript conundrum is a multifaceted hydra-headed problem.

1. Students have their share (failure to register courses, registering wrong courses, failure to pay fees, failure to sit exams, shading wrong index numbers in exams, not meeting all the requirements to graduate, referrals, etc).

2. SoNM & it’s lecturers have their share

3. UDS ICT has its share.

4. UDS academic affairs has its share.

While you call for UDS and SoNM to fix their part, kindly advice yourself and your colleagues to fix their part.

Having said this, we at SoNM have worked tediously over the last few years of being granted a school status to fix some of the issues, and we will continue to do so.

But please, fix your part as a student too.
